This policy explains what personal data World Medics Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it deliberately short and readable.
Who we are
World Medics Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@worldmedics.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you enquire or order: your name, email address, delivery address and the contents of your message.
- When you email us: whatever you choose to include, plus your email address.
- When you browse: basic, anonymised server logs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and fulfil your order — necessary for a contract with you.
- To keep proper business and tax records — a legal obligation.
- To send occasional restock reminders — only where you have asked us to, and you can stop at any time.
Health information
Please do not send us detailed health information. We are a retailer, not a healthcare provider, and we cannot give medical advice. If you do include health details in a message, we use them only to answer you and delete them once the enquiry is closed.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to get your order to you: our delivery partner, our payment provider once checkout is live, and our email and hosting providers. We never sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months. Order and financial records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@worldmedics.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The only data stored in your browser is what is needed for the page to work.

If we change this policy we will update this page and change the date below.
