We started World Medics because buying self-care had become weirdly stressful — endless choice, loud claims, and prices that made no sense. We wanted a shorter shelf of things that genuinely work, with the numbers printed on the page.
A shorter, better shelf
We’d rather stock 116 things we can stand behind than ten thousand we can’t. If it isn’t good enough for our own bathroom cabinet, it doesn’t go on the site.
Honest about doses
Every supplement sits inside the UK safe upper levels, and we publish each one against the limit. Higher numbers on a label are marketing, not medicine.
Plain language only
We describe what something does, not what we wish it did. No “cures”, no “repairs”, no before-and-afters that quietly changed the lighting.

World Medics is a general retailer, not a pharmacy. That shapes the whole shop, and we think it makes it better.
We stock

- Hair, scalp and everyday personal care
- Baby and family skincare
We deliberately don’t stock
- Prescription-only medicines (POM) — these need a pharmacist and a prescription
- Pharmacy-only (P) medicines — these need a registered pharmacy
- General sale medicines such as painkillers — a deliberate choice, not an oversight
- CBD products — the novel-food rules are unsettled and we’d rather wait
